½ It's all for fun in the animated adventure Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers. Inspired by the Alexandre Dumas novel, wannabe musketeers Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are given a chance to prove themselves when they're assigned to guard Princess Minnie. The film is focuses more on gags than story, but that's to be expected from what is essentially an extended cartoon sketch. The classic Disney characters are used quite well, and include Pete, Daisy, Clarabelle Cow, and the Beagle Boys.

My kids (and I) love anything Disney and were super excited to find this season on DVD. I loved classic Disney Cartoons and hate the garbage cartoons currently on tv. Even Jake isn't the same:( My kids don't watch them, they LOVE these shorts. It's a treat after visiting WDW, that we can still watch them home, occasionally they are on The Disney Channel, but love having the whole collection. You still have all the classic characters, but all shorts have modern styles/twists.
They are really cute, fun and enjoyable to watch. This DVD has 5 episodes about 25 minutes each, standard Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fare. My 2 year old loves Mickey and the gang and this is another good DVD to add to our collection. We like the Clubhouse DVDs because she has actually learned a lot from them (they do a lot of things with numbers and patterns and such). In fact it is the only thing we allow her to watch besides Veggietales as it's one of the few remaining wholesome, good, clean fun programs out there and it's a great bonus that it's educational too! Mickey Mouse in Living Color Vol. 2 is a great dvd package.
Included are some very entertaining shorts and featurettes, many of which I had forgotten until I just viewed them again. In my opinion, I prefer the shorts on Vol.1, but it is nice to finally have the whole collection to enjoy forever. A lot of people have complained here that Leonard Maltin's introductions to some of the shorts are annoying and unnecessary. I agree to an extent, that they can get repetitive. But Maltin was a major player in getting this great material released to the public in all of its uncensored glory.
