To be perfectly honest, it’s not high on my priority list right now, because most of my Gundam torrents have been retired due to US BD releases being made, and the few that haven’t, I have had to pull the posts down because of DMCA takedown requests from RightStuf. I might re-upload a few of the supported releases again in the future if we don’t get an announcement for BD releases (stuff like the Turn A films and the Gundam 0079 movie dubs) but stuff like 00 isn’t worth the effort to reupload since I have no idea if I still have local copies of the files and I expect BDs will be released eventually. I’m also waiting on reviving the SEED project now because it’s a lot of work and I want to see what RightStuf will do with it before I put all the work into the recut. Normally, I wouldn’t bother to respond to these kinds of things because I’ve explained myself enough times over the course of 8 years, but what the hell, I’ll play ball.
Seeing as I have to do the work, that’s all that matters. If I can buy a US BD, I have no need to spend the time and energy to encode something. If it matters so much to you, I suggest you take up encoding and then you don’t have to come around and whine like this. 2: I obey DMCA takedowns for the specific licenses they issue them against. I’m well aware that the encodes are illegal, but for years, no one even held the licenses for the shows I was encoding, which at worst made it a gray area.
Torrents have to be reuploaded when the tracker that 8 years of releases were tracked through shuts down and the seeder bases fracture in about 100 different directions. When Nyaa went down, anything I still supported and seeded become completely unmanaged, which means I don’t have an easy way of telling if there even are any seeders, short of hoping that peer exchange and DHT are working.
Believe me, I know how torrents work. Seems you don’t actually care — as is apparent from your history over the past year.
And good job making assumptions that I’m not already an active encoder for a big place called passthepopcorn. Maybe you heard of it? Pathetic attempt at redemption, only makes us laugh at you more. No they don’t. They never have to be “reuploaded”. If a tracker shuts down, you merely only have to add the hash to a new tracker and put that tracker in your current torrent — easily managed for perpetuity via magnet links. Either way it seems you don’t know how torrents work.

Not to mention all nyaa torrents can be converted by simply changing a single letter in the tracker list. Good job failing at not one, not two, but three points! You used to be a respected transcoder. Now you’re just a flop.
It has been over a year since I last subbed anything, and as a result, my mental health has improved a ton. I’m sure you know, but I have paranoid personality disorder, which I may have actually developed from fansubbing. But whether it came from fansubbing, something else, or if I was just born with it, I’ve managed to get it under control over the last year by engaging in other activities and with other people. I don’t want to re-agitate it with all the progress I’ve made, so I am going to officially drop any open project I still have.
